We are seeking an enthusiastic Apprentice Gardener/Landscaper to join our team and contribute to the upkeep and enhancement of the hotel’s gardens, grounds, and outdoor areas. This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a premium resort environment while completing your apprenticeship. You will work closely with our landscaping and maintenance teams, learning all aspects of horticulture and groundskeeping.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the maintenance and upkeep of landscaped gardens, lawns, and outdoor areas
- Support planting, pruning, watering, and fertilising programs
- Assist with pest and weed control as required
- Maintain garden equipment and ensure all tools are safe and in good working order
- Follow instructions from senior gardeners and team leaders, and adhere to safety procedures
- Work as part of a team to ensure the hotel grounds are always presentable and guest-ready
About You
- Passionate about horticulture, landscaping, and outdoor work
- Eager to learn and develop practical gardening and landscaping skills
- Physically fit and able to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Positive, proactive attitude and a team player
- You are enrolled in a NSW-recognised gardening/landscaping apprenticeship
