Recently refurbished, branded hotel in West Edinburgh is looking for a Maintenance Assistant.

What we expect:
- Experience in hotel maintenance or in a similar role.
- Certification in maintenance or a related field (plumbing decorating preferred).
- Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot technical problems effectively.
- Experience of maintaining HVAC systems, basic plumbing, basic electrical systems, door lock systems and general building maintenance including fixing plastering and painting.
- Hands on, DIY.
- Ability to communicate effectively with guests, staff, contractors, trades and other departments.
- Experience in swimming pool, steam room and gym maintenance are very desirable.
- Ability to manage workload, prioritise tasks and maintain all H&S, Fire safety and PPM of rooms records.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting and standing for extended periods.
- Flexible in case of emergency.
- Available to work weekends if necessary.
