The Opportunity

Novomorphic is seeking motivated graduates to join our Digital IC and FPGA Engineering team. You will contribute to the design, simulation, verification, and implementation of digital integrated circuits and FPGA-based systems for low-power intelligent hardware applications. This role is ideal for graduates interested in semiconductor engineering, programmable hardware, RTL design, and intelligent digital systems.

What You Will Do

  • Develop RTL using VHDL, Verilog, or SystemVerilog.
  • Support simulation, verification, synthesis, timing analysis, and FPGA implementation activities.
  • Work with Cadence digital IC environments and FPGA development toolchains.
  • Contribute to low-power digital hardware development and optimisation.
  • Participate in debugging, integration, and design review activities.
  • Collaborate with IC designers, FPGA engineers, embedded engineers, and system architects.
  • Support development of reusable semiconductor IP.

Essential Requirements

  • Degree in: Electronic Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Embedded Systems, Computer Science with hardware relevance, or a related field
  • Understanding of digital electronics fundamentals.
  • Interest in Digital IC or FPGA engineering.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work within multidisciplinary engineering teams.

Desirable Experience

  • FPGA or HDL development
  • VHDL, Verilog, or SystemVerilog
  • Embedded systems projects
  • Python or scripting experience
  • Simulation or verification exposure
