Responsibilities:
- Independently perform sample preparation and LC-MS/MS analysis for metabolomics studies in accordance with SOPs.
- Apply DDA and DIA/SWATH acquisition strategies to ensure robust, reproducible, and high-quality data delivery.
- Ensure accurate documentation, traceability, and timely reporting of experimental and QC results.
- Proactively report project progress, abnormalities, and potential risks to team leads, and support troubleshooting to prevent project delays; professionally communicate QC results and address client inquiries.
- Operate, maintain, and monitor the performance of high-resolution mass spectrometers and LC systems, and report instrument issues as needed to ensure optimal performance.
- Support daily laboratory operations, including internal coordination, reagent and consumable management, inventory monitoring, and procurement assistance.
- Provide technical guidance and training to junior laboratory staff.
- Ensure strict compliance with laboratory safety regulations and 5S principles to maintain a safe, efficient, and well-organized work environment.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree (or above) in proteomics, biochemistry, analytical chemistry, molecular biology, or a related field; a Bachelor’s degree with at least two years of relevant laboratory experience will also be considered.
Required Skills:
- Solid hands-on experience in metabolomics.
- Practical experience with high-resolution LC–MS/MS systems (e.g. Thermo Fisher Q Exactive HF-X, Orbitrap Exploris series).
- Ability to produce high-quality, well-documented data in accordance with SOPs.
- Willingness to travel to China for technical training, if required.
