We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Laboratory Technician to join our growing team. In this role, you will support cutting-edge single-cell sequencing workflows, working with advanced technologies and contributing to high-impact scientific projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out single-cell sequencing experiments, including sample preparation and single-cell capture
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation of experimental procedures and results
- Follow SOPs and laboratory safety standards to maintain a compliant working environment
- Operate laboratory instruments such as centrifuges and 10x Genomics platforms
- Support day-to-day laboratory operations and general tasks
- Communicate progress, issues, and results clearly with the team
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in biology or a related field
- Hands-on laboratory experience, with a solid understanding of cell biology
- Experience in fresh tissue/sample dissociation is highly desirable
- Exposure to single-cell sequencing workflows (preferred but not essential)
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
- Proactive, organised, and able to manage tasks independently
- Willingness to travel internationally (short-term training in China if required)
