We are seeking a proactive and results-driven HR Manager to join our EU HR Team and perform as the key contact for the business department. This position will communicate with HQ teams on a daily basis. This role is highly collaborative and requires drive, organisation, and foundational HR skills. You will work closely with different business sectors and deliver HR activities to support business growth. You are expected to work within the internal HR team and extended Global HR teams and functions. The successful candidate must be willing to commute to the Cambridge office on a daily basis.
Essential Skills/Experience:- Proficient in English and Mandarin, both written and oral.
- Bachelor degree or above in human resources and relevant subjects. Biology is preferred.
- 3-8 years’ work experience in HR function.
- Good knowledge of EU/UK labour laws and immigration legislation.
- Outstanding knowledge of MS Office and HR management systems.
- Good multitasking and time management capability.
- Teamwork spirit, proactive attitude and goal-oriented mindset.
- Excellent communication and people skills as well as strong cultural awareness.
- Lead a team to deliver on:
- Lead the HR budgeting process and the rollout of programs in talent, organisation, culture, and incentives.
- Responsible for local recruitment for business and lab sectors.
- Manage employee absence and system administration.
- Manage staff onboarding and offboarding procedures and relevant documentation.
- Manage employee performance, such as probation, appraisal, PIP, promotion, capability mapping, 360 degrees feedback etc.
- Manage employee compensation and benefit, and process month payroll and budget reporting.
- Lead local HR admin to support local operations.
- Manage local HR suppliers and its relevant workflows.
- Support immigration management and conduct regular visa audits.
- Support HR data maintenance, such as HRIS and eflow creation and improvement.
- Support collect and analyse data with useful HR metrics for different purposes, e.g. employee retention, leadership, recruitment efficiency.
- Work closely with all EU business units and HQ HRC to improve management localisation and work efficiency.
