The Company This well-established privately owned event management business is based in Somerset and works with clients throughout the whole of the UK. The company has a wide range of long-term contracts and plenty of excellent client relationships that have been developed over many years.
The Requirement A suitably experienced Project Manager to report to the company’s Operations Director, in relation to a broad mix of interesting live projects, leading on client relationships, ensuring all projects are delivered with the highest levels of customer service and professional excellence.
Purpose of Role The Project Manager is responsible for the end-to-end management of commercial projects from confirmed order to completion. This role co-ordinates with sales and operations teams, customers, contractors, and suppliers where applicable to ensure successful project delivery, supporting operational logistics and order fulfilment where needed.

- Manage project schedules, resource allocation, and delivery milestones
- Co-ordinate multiple stakeholders including operations and graphics teams, customers and contractors
- Monitor project progress, risks, and implement corrective actions
- Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and industry standards

Experience Needed & Suitability
- A background of project management which could be in any marketplace such as the events, construction or military sectors
- Project Management experience to date could be as little as a few years, this appointment is a lot to do with personality, behaviour and professional ethics
- First class organisation and communication skills
- Able to work well under pressure to meet deadlines
- Excellent customer service skills
- Based in the South West ideally near to Taunton, Bristol or Exeter, able to be on-site in the office for the majority of the week
