Following continued growth with key aerospace clients, we are supporting an internationally recognised certification body in appointing an experienced Aerospace Lead Auditor to help lead and develop its aerospace function. Competency across AS9100, AS9110 and AS9120 is preferred; however, we recognise how specialised this experience is. Candidates holding two standards, with the motivation to develop the third, are strongly encouraged to apply.

You will be responsible for delivering high-quality, chargeable audits across the aerospace sector, while also supporting the wider business through technical leadership and operational input. In addition, this role will play a key part in strengthening and expanding the aerospace auditing team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct third-party audits against AS9100, AS9110 and AS9120 in line with accreditation and scheme requirements.
  • Confident use of the OASIS database and scheme expectations.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of aerospace standards, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
  • Support internal teams with quotation preparation, sampling calculations, and technical guidance.
  • Assist in identifying, mentoring, and onboarding new aerospace auditors.
Required Qualifications & Experience
  • Recognised Aerospace Experienced Auditor (AEA) status for AS9100 / AS9110 / AS9120.
  • Strong understanding of aerospace quality management systems and regulatory frameworks.
  • Proven experience delivering third-party audits under accredited schemes.
