An independent global asset manager with $20bn+ in AUM is growing their London based legal team. Working alongside a small high calibre legal team reporting into the General Counsel, you will deliver comprehensive legal and regulatory advice across the Group.
Key Responsibilities:
- Fund Management: Handle liquid UCITS and AIF documentation, including prospectuses, supplements, KIIDs, and board memos
- Contract Negotiation: Draft and review commercial agreements, distribution contracts, IT/data licences, and IMAs
- Trading & Private Markets: Liaise with external counsel to negotiate ISDAs, GMRAs, and CDEAs, and advise on private equity, VC, and NPL strategies
- Regulatory & Corporate: Monitor UK/EU regulatory updates and support corporate restructurings or international subsidiary setups
Requirements:
- Qualified mid level UK Solicitor with experience in funds, financial services, or corporate law
- Experience gained within a top-tier private practice or an in-house asset management environment
- Exceptional analytical, communication, and organisational skills with sharp attention to detail
- Professional fluency in Italian is mandatory
