A high-calibre hedge fund is looking to appoint a commercially minded General Counsel to join their London based team.
The successful candidate will work closely with the leadership team, take ownership of complex legal matters and play a visible role in fundraising conversations.
We are looking for someone who is:
- Thoughtful, credible and detail-oriented
- Comfortable working autonomously across a broad legal remit
- Able to identify practical solutions
- Experienced within a hedge fund or closely related investment environment
- Strong across derivatives and/or corporate matters, ideally with exposure to equity and equity derivatives
- Confident engaging with senior stakeholders and investors
The role offers significant influence and the opportunity to become a trusted adviser to the firm’s senior leadership.
You must have solid academics, training at a top city law firm and have spent a significant amount of time in-house. Jumpy CV's will not get through.
