In this role you will lead the architecture, engineering, and operations of AI platforms and advanced compute/storage infrastructure across Novo Nordisk’s R&D and enterprise ecosystem. You will enable scientists, data scientists, ML engineers, and product teams to accelerate drug discovery and development through scalable, compliant AI. You will define enterprise standards for GenAI, MLOps, and responsible AI, while driving adoption across functions. Responsibilities
- Define AI platform vision, architecture, roadmap and operating model
- Lead teams for AI/ML platforms, data platforms, cloud infra, Kubernetes, and platform operations
- Deliver secure, scalable, observable AI services across cloud, hybrid, and on-prem environments
- Design and operate GPU/HPC for foundation-model training, inference, and data-intensive workloads
- Lead data storage/arch and governance for petabyte-scale data and high-performance services
- Establish AI governance, model risk controls, and compliance in a regulated pharma setting
- Stakeholder and vendor management across R&D, clinical development, and technology leaders
Key requirements
