Our client is a leading engineering consultancy within the transport sector and is renowned for their expertise in delivering and maintaining high-quality infrastructure projects. Due to growth and demand for their services, we are helping them to recruit a Structural Audit Engineer (Highways) to join their team in Scotland.
The Structural Audit Engineer will be responsible for the coordination, reviewing and auditing the delivery of services relating to roads network structures including highway bridges, tunnels, retaining walls, and other related infrastructure. The Structural Audit Engineer will ensure technical and commercial outputs are met in line with the contract and report to key stakeholders.
- Ensure the delivery of audit, monitoring and reports related to roads network structures
- Provide expert advice on issues arising from the audit and monitoring of Suppliers relating to the framework
- Provide expert advice on issues identified relating to roads network structures
- Plan a roads structures audit strategy and update as required
- Carry out ad-hoc exercises instructed by the Employer
- Liaise with other members of the services delivery team to ensure coordinated investigation, analysis and reporting to the Employer
Minimum 5 years of experience in highways engineering or highway audits.
Chartered Civil or Structural Engineer or equivalent.
Demonstrable experience of the maintenance, management, and construction of roads network structures and infrastructure.
