Our client is a generator manufacturer and backup power specialist. They are a lobal leader in providing data-enabled conventional and renewable off-grid power solutions. They supply a worldwide customer base catering to various markets and applications across residential, commercial, industrial, telecommunication, healthcare, data centres, and utility sectors. Operating internationally with several manufacturing plants, our client has established a strong presence and brand recognition in the off-grid power industry. THE ROLE: SALES MANAGER EUROPE Based UK, Poland, Spain or Italy. This key appointment will develop and implement strategic sales plans to expand the company’s European customer base through channel partners, key accounts and direct to customer. The person will focus on increasing revenue for conventional and renewables. This role is also responsible for identifying new business opportunities, nurturing relationships with existing clients, and analysing sales data to identify areas for growth and improvement. The role collaborates with other departments, such as marketing and product development, to develop integrated sales strategies. The role will focus their time with channel partners/dealers, end customers and global accounts. This is a home-based UK role with regular business travel to all parts of the UK and Continental Europe. QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE Graduate or graduate calibre. Bachelor’s degree in business, Engineering, or any relevant field. Minimum of 10 years’ experience with ideally 5 years’ experience in a senior role in the conventional or renewable industry. Relevant industry experience (other than Conventional & renewable power suppliers) could be construction equipment, pumps heating and ventilation equipment, equipment rental, excavating and lifting equipment. Significant new business development on an international scale. Significant knowledge of the energy and/or industrial electro/mechanical products market and the competitive landscape in the sector.
