Requirement & Responsibilities
The company is looking to appoint a suitably experienced Operations Director, to come into the business at a very exciting time. Core responsibilities will entail:
- Leading and optimising the company’s operations, supply chain, quality assurance, compliance and vendor management
- Driving continuous improvement with the company’s international supply chain vendors, to ensure consistent quality and timely delivery of goods
- Improving the company’s operational systems, processes and procedures
- Leading negotiations, budgeting, purchasing, and putting efficient workflows in place to maximize the company\’s productivity and performance
- Overseeing and mentoring cross-functional teams in the UK and Far East
- Regularly updating stakeholders on operational performance, risks, and opportunities.
Expertise & Character Fit
- Proven operations leadership within successful consumer products manufacturing & distribution companies
- Excellent knowledge of consumer-packaged goods supply chains and processes, particularly with experience of the Far East
- Experience of building resilient operating systems
- Energetic, driven and passionate
- Excellent communication skills at all levels
- Ability to engage internal and external stakeholders
- Strong Resilience and Leadership skills
- Willingness to travel to the Far East quarterly
