Our Client

Our client is a precision engineering company supplying into the military and civils markets in the UK, US, Europe, and Asia. They manufacture highly complex components at high volume, plus offer aftermarket support and full product life cycle capability from product development through to aftermarket supply chain management.

The business is privately owned and will be doubling in size over the next few years (from existing contracts). Consequently, the board seeks to appoint the best possible Director of Quality. This person will take the Company on a journey, changing the cultural environment to enable continuous improvement – a shift from reactive to proactive.

The Role

Reporting into the Managing Director, the Director of Quality will oversee extremely capable Quality Managers, so doesn’t need to be a compliance expert themselves – just have a strong understanding and appreciation of what they do.

You will enjoy working under pressure, in this fast-paced, highly technical manufacturing environment, and have excellent leadership and communication skills to lead the cultural transformation.

The new Director will be required on site 5 days per week, so this role will require a relocation (rather than if you live outside of the geography.)
