Our client is a leading environmental and town planning consultancy in Scotland. The practice is well established and provides a multitude of environmental and related consultancy services to private and public sector clients throughout the country. The business is a prominent player in the renewables sector and has a thriving and growing ecology team.

The Requirement

Due to continued success within the company’s Inverness office and plans for future growth, the business is looking to recruit a Technical Director that can work alongside a Regional Director in helping to grow the office and manage the team.

The Role & Responsibilities

Operating as a member of the Senior Leadership Team (SLT), the person will:

  • Manage the development of the Ecology function across the Inverness and Highlands Region
  • Develop a strategy to grow the discipline
  • Focus and drive the business development effort to win work
  • Work with Directors and Team Leaders across other functions and regions, plan, complete and manage projects raising standards and supporting cross functional sales across the business
  • Work closely with the teams across the business to ensure a ‘one-team’ approach to clients, colleagues and projects
