Novify is partnering with a leading regulated digital asset exchange to hire a Senior Quantitative Developer (Low‑Latency Java).

Location: London, UK preferred, but Amsterdam, NL considered.

Compensation: Up to £200K base + equity package.

Type: Full-time.

Build and optimise an institutional-grade, zero‑downtime trading platform. Novify is exclusively partnering with a regulated digital asset trading venue built for institutional and sophisticated retail investors, offering a secure, transparent platform across spot and derivatives markets. Having launched some of the first regulated crypto derivatives products in Europe, the business is now expanding its product range across both digital and traditional finance.

We’re hiring a Senior Quantitative Developer to join the team and play a key role in developing and optimising the spot and derivatives platform.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Creating, building and launching new derivative products in both the crypto and traditional finance spaces.
  • Working directly with key clients to provide integration support and troubleshoot queries.
  • Collaborating with risk management and compliance teams to ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Working with engineering and operations teams to test and integrate changes into production systems for live trading.
  • Maintaining and improving a zero-downtime, 24/7 trading platform including matching engine, risk engine, margining, liquidations and APIs.

We’re Looking For:

  • A degree in Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, Finance or a related field (Masters or PhD preferred).
  • In-depth understanding of cryptocurrency and derivatives, including perpetual futures and traditional finance.
  • Experience in quantitative development and analysis, algorithmic trading or market‑making, ideally within the cryptocurrency space.
  • Extensive experience in low‑latency Java (nanosecond or microsecond, milliseconds are too slow) including off‑heap allocation, LMAX, Chronicle, and Mechanical Sympathy.
