The Transformation Team drives strategic, organisation‑wide change by coordinating technology, people, and processes to deliver well‑governed, outcome‑driven initiatives.
It leads major cross‑functional programmes — from business integration to platform modernisation — ensuring strong governance, alignment to business goals, and measurable delivery outcomes.
The team acts as the bridge between strategy and execution, ensuring programmes are delivered consistently, transparently, and with demonstrable business value.
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Project Manager to join our Transformation team and be part of a strategic platform transformation programme, with a specific focus on the delivery of a successful platform migration.
The role requires expertise in project management, stakeholder engagement, and preferably experience within the UK platform and wealth management industry.
The successful candidate will be a key part of the planning and delivery of workstreams within the programme, to ensure that they are delivered on time, within budget, and with minimal disruption to the business and our customers.
This role will be on an initial 12-18 month fixed term contract basis.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Planning & Delivery
- Lead end-to-end delivery of projects, ensuring scope, timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met.
- Develop and own a comprehensive project plan, outlining key milestones, deliverables, and timelines.
- Ensure that the scope, objectives, and success criteria are tracked to and met.
- Manage cross-functional teams, technical SMEs, vendors, and business stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain project plans, RAID logs, status reports, and governance artefacts.
- Drive structured change management, communication, and user adoption activities.
- Apply consistent project methodologies and maintain project artefacts.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Collaborate closely with internal teams, vendors, and third-party service providers to ensure alignment on project objectives and execute delivery.
- Provide regular updates on progress, risks, and issues, ensuring transparency throughout the project lifecycle.
- Facilitate updates and presentations to senior management and stakeholders.
Execution and Coordination
- Coordinate cross-functional teams to execute the project tasks effectively, including those from external vendors and third-party service providers.
- Ensure data integrity and security, and consumer duty remain central to the execution and delivery of the project deliverables.
- Oversee testing phases, system functionality testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
Risk Management
- Proactively identify and mitigate risks or issues that could impact project delivery, regulatory compliance, or client outcomes.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and effectively mitigate and manage risk impact to ensure successful project delivery.
Business Readiness
- Manage business readiness activities for some of the programme workstreams, with a specific focus on the ability for the business to accept the migration safely.
- Work with other project and business stakeholders to ensure that communications (external and internal) are appropriately planned and delivered in a timely manner.
Post Go-Live Support
- Monitor and facilitate post go-live support for some of the programme workstreams to enable issues to be resolved promptly.
- Gather feedback from users to identify areas for improvement and implement necessary adjustments.
