We are looking for an entrepreneurial and driven professional to build and lead our sales activities in the United Kingdom. The position is based in the Malvern area and focuses entirely on developing the UK market through direct sales, key account management, and potential distributor partnerships.
You will report directly to the Global Sales Director and play a key role in expanding our presence in the UK scientific instrumentation market.
- Full responsibility for developing the UK market for our analytical instrumentation
- Establish and grow direct relationships with customers and key accounts in industry and research
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities across the UK
- Provide technical guidance and application support for analytical instruments (e.g. field-flow fractionation, chromatography, light scattering)
- Prepare quotations, negotiate contracts, and close sales
- Evaluate and potentially develop UK distributor partnerships
- Collaborate closely with product management, application specialists, and marketing
- Monitor market developments, scientific trends, and competitor activities
Your Profile:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in science, engineering, or business
- Several years of experience in technical sales of complex or scientific products, ideally analytical instrumentation or laboratory equipment
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to develop a market independently
- Willingness to travel within the UK for customer visits, demonstrations, and conferences
