The main aspect of the role is to convert either Designers / Architects design intent drawings into technical drawings for joinery manufacture using AutoCAD LT software.
DXF files created for CNC machinery.
Attend design meetings with client, architects, internal project managers and production as part of the design process.
Able to propose design changes and alternative materials.
Uploading and issuing drawings internally and externally to document portals.
Creation and control of RFI\’s.
Attend site to take detailed surveys to assist in the design, manufacture and installation processes.
Ability to work to deadlines and manage workloads accordingly.
Ideal candidate will have a joinery background who has been working in a design/drawing office.
