Responsibilities
- Spectrometry Testing and Support: Preparation and testing of routine samples when required. Support on operation of all spectrometers including standardisation and QC testing. Providing training to operations for use of spectrometer. Ptr sample mould inspections, maintenance and replacing. Management and ordering of Spectrometry spares and standards.
- Cooling Water Systems Testing and Support: Routine testing of water system and investigation of issues. Managing the chemical and services for cooling water tower. Legionella awareness (training can be provided).
- Metal Cleanliness Testing: Taking inline casting tests such as Podfa, Hycal and LiMCA. Compiling results and organising shipping of Podfas.
- Casting Tooling Support: Scheduling and ordering of required casting tooling and related consumables. Completing water tests on tables. Maintaining casting tooling schedule and inventory list, including launders.
- General Responsibilities: 5S projects and maintaining Moor Standards throughout the Process & Quality department. Be involved in NOS activities. Daily process audits. Supporting technical department activities as required.

- Strong attention to detail even when faced with a repetitive task.
- Fault finding experience.
- Good communication skills with a hands-on approach and working as part of a team.
- Good knowledge of spreadsheets and an understanding of SAP procedures.
- Good safety practices.
- Can do attitude, strong work ethic and able to organise and plan their own work schedule.
