We are looking for a high-calibre Commercial Associate to support the growth and adoption of Novee’s AI platform. This is a broad, hands-on commercial role working closely with founders, sales and product.
You will help drive new opportunities, support pre-sales and procurement processes, work directly with clients during onboarding and rollout, and feed real-world insight back into the product and commercial strategy. This role is ideal for someone commercially sharp, highly organised, and eager to learn a complex domain quickly. Prior insurance or underwriting experience is a plus, but not required.
Key Responsibilities- Support pipeline development by researching, engaging, and qualifying prospective customers through outbound activity, inbound leads, referrals, and events.
- Assist in pre-sales engagements: preparing demos, proposals, use-case narratives, and commercial materials in collaboration with senior team members.
- Coordinate and manage commercial due diligence processes including RFIs/RFPs, product evaluations, security questionnaires, and procurement workflows.
- Act as a key point of contact for prospects and clients during the sales and onboarding journey, ensuring a professional and responsive experience.
- Support client onboarding and enablement: scheduling sessions, preparing materials, tracking milestones, and helping ensure early value realisation.
- Monitor client usage and feedback, identify early adoption risks or blockers, and escalate insights to the wider team.
- Represent Novee at industry events, webinars, and client sessions, supporting relationship-building and brand presence.
- Identify opportunities for expansion, renewals, and upsell, and contribute to broader commercial strategy through structured market feedback.
- 2–5+ years of experience in a commercial, client-facing, or analytical role (e.g. consulting, sales, customer success, strategy, operations, fintech/insurtech, or B2B SaaS).
- Strong commercial instincts and comfort engaging with senior stakeholders.
- Highly organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple workstreams in parallel.
- Clear and confident communicator, able to turn complex or technical concepts into structured, persuasive messages.
- Comfortable working in a fast-moving startup environment with ambiguity and ownership.
- Interest in AI-driven products and how technology can improve decision-making in complex industries.
- Nice to have: exposure to insurance, underwriting, or financial services but not essential.
