This is an opportunity to join a well-established structural steel contractor delivering major projects across commercial, industrial and infrastructure sectors.
With a strong pipeline of secured work and continued investment across the business, they're looking to strengthen their commercial team with an experienced Quantity Surveyor who enjoys being involved throughout the entire project lifecycle.
You'll work closely with Project Managers, Contracts Managers and senior leadership, giving you real influence over how projects are delivered-not just reporting on them afterwards.
The Role You'll play a key part in the commercial success of multiple structural steel projects by: Managing valuations, variations and commercial reporting across live contracts.
Monitoring project costs, identifying risks and helping maximise profitability.
Supporting Contract and Project Managers throughout the commercial lifecycle.
Working closely with procurement to ensure materials and subcontract packages remain commercially aligned.
Assisting with applications, final accounts and contract reviews.
Building strong relationships with clients, consultants and internal project teams.
The role also offers exposure to rail projects, providing variety and the opportunity to broaden your experience across different sectors.
What You'll Need Essential Quantity Surveying experience within structural steel or construction.
Good working knowledge of NEC and/or JCT contracts.
Relevant Quantity Surveying qualification.
Strong commercial awareness with excellent financial and analytical skills.
Full UK driving licence.
Desirable Experience working on rail or infrastructure projects.
CSCS Card.
