Dudley Council is looking for a dynamic Information Governance Manager to lead and develop our corporate approach to information management, ensuring compliance, efficiency, and security across all council operations.

About the Role

As the Information Governance Manager, you will take responsibility for the development and delivery of the Council\’s Information Governance strategy. You will work closely with senior management, elected members, and service areas to ensure that the Council\’s use of information complies with all relevant legislation, including the UK GDPR, Data Protection Act 2018, and the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR).

You will act as the Council\’s principal adviser on data protection and information governance matters, developing policies, leading on complex issues, and supporting continuous improvement across all directorates.
