About the roleIslington Council is on a mission to make our borough fairer for all. We're looking for an experienced HR Project Lead to join our Human Resources team on a 3-month contract to help deliver strategic HR projects that support our ambitious workforce strategy.
In this role, you will lead and coordinate HR projects from inception to completion β whether that's policy development, employee engagement initiatives, digital transformation, or workforce planning. You'll work closely with managers, stakeholders, and HR colleagues to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned to organisational goals.
Key responsibilities:

Plan, manage, and deliver HR projects to agreed timescales and outcomes.

Carry out research and analyse workforce data to inform decision-making.

Build strong relationships with stakeholders across the council.

Provide clear reports, recommendations, and updates to senior management.

Promote and communicate project progress through various channels.

About you:
