This autonomous role involves working closely with the sales and estimating team to prepare competitive estimates and manage project documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review drawings and specifications to prepare accurate, competitive quotations.
- Liaise with clients, contractors, engineers, and suppliers on technical matters.
- Quantify steelwork from engineering drawings and prepare all necessary documentation.
- Maintain internal systems (e.g., ABI Database, SAP) and confirm contract terms on orders.
- Support senior management in evaluating and maximising project opportunities.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar estimating role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Experience in structural steel, estimating, quantity surveying, or related fields is advantageous.
