We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established structural steel specialist seeking Junior and Senior Tekla Detailers to join their growing team in the Wembley area. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a diverse portfolio of structural steel projects across commercial, industrial, and mixed-use developments. Whether you are at the early stages of your detailing career or an experienced senior capable of leading projects, this role offers strong progression and exposure to technically challenging steelwork schemes.
The Role
- Producing 3D models and detailed fabrication drawings using Tekla Structures
- Generating GA drawings, assembly drawings, and CNC data
- Coordinating with design engineers, project managers, and fabrication teams
- Reviewing engineer's calculations and ensuring compliance with project specifications
- Resolving technical queries and liaising with clients where required
- Managing projects independently and mentoring junior detailers (Senior level)
About You
Junior Level
- Experience using Tekla Structures (work placement or industry experience preferred)
- Understanding of structural steel detailing principles
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
Senior Level
- Proven experience detailing structural steel projects from design through to fabrication
- Strong knowledge of steel connections and fabrication processes
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines
- Confident communicator with experience coordinating with internal and external stakeholders
