We are seeking an experienced Tekla Steel Detailer to join a busy detailing team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on a diverse range of agricultural, industrial, and commercial projects, producing accurate models and drawings for complex steel structures.
In this role, you will take full ownership of detailing packages, preparing 3D models and fabrication drawings, generating cladding material orders, and ensuring accurate communication between engineers, project managers, and production teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Create accurate 3D models and fabrication drawings using Tekla Structures.
- Produce cladding material orders and associated detailing.
- Interpret structural and architectural drawings.
- Liaise with engineers, contract managers, and production teams to ensure design accuracy and buildability.
- Work to strict deadlines while maintaining quality and precision.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and client specifications.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Minimum 3 years\’ experience with Tekla Structures in a steel fabrication environment.
- Strong knowledge of steel frame detailing, fabrication processes, connections, and cladding systems.
- Familiarity with UK Building Regulations, Eurocodes, and/or British Standards.
- Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
