We are currently recruiting for an experienced Senior Social Work Assistant to join a well-established Children in Care service within a forward-thinking local authority. The Role
- Supporting the completion of statutory assessments
- Supervising family time/contact sessions
- Working directly with children, young people, and families
- Undertaking home visits and community-based support
- Recording accurate and up-to-date case information
- Providing practical and emotional support to families
- Working closely with multi-agency professionals to achieve the best outcomes
About You
- Has experience working with vulnerable children, young people, and families
- Has a strong understanding of safeguarding and children's services processes

- Is organised, proactive, and able to manage a varied workload
