Job Title: Skilled Vehicle Technician (Grade H)
Location: Tower Hamlets, London (E14 0JJ)
Salary / Pay Rate: Β£25 – Β£29 Umbrella
Job Type: Contract, 35 hours per week
Responsibilities
- Carry out repairs and maintenance to a wide variety of fleet vehicles, including cars, vans, and buses.
- Work within the council\’s workshop environment.
- Service and maintain vehicles of all sizes.
- Fault diagnosis, repair, and scheduled maintenance.
- Opportunity to move into a permanent position for the right candidate.
About the Company
This role is based with the Tower Hamlets, working within Housing and Regeneration. You will be part of a dedicated team maintaining a busy fleet that supports essential services across the borough.
Qualifications
- Level 3 City & Guilds / NVQ or equivalent qualification in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair
- Experience working on HGV and PSV vehicles
- Knowledge of fleet servicing, diagnostics, and repairs
- An MOT Tester qualification is highly desirable
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Available to start immediately
