An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced

Senior Site Manager to join a major EPC project in Enfield, overseeing the safe and efficient delivery of structural steelwork and mechanical plant installation.

Working on a high-profile industrial project, you'll take responsibility for coordinating site operations, managing subcontractors and ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme and to the highest quality standards.

With approximately 40 personnel on site across day and night shifts, this role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys leading multidisciplinary teams.

The Role

You will

  • Lead day-to-day site operations on a major EPC project.
  • Manage structural steelwork and mechanical plant installation activities.
  • Coordinate subcontractors, supervisors and site teams across day and night shifts.
  • Ensure works are delivered safely, efficiently and in accordance with programme requirements.
  • Monitor quality, productivity and site performance.
  • Chair site meetings and liaise with project managers, engineers and client representatives.
  • Ensure RAMS, permits and site documentation are in place and adhered to.
  • Manage site logistics, sequencing of works and resource allocation.
  • Promote a strong health and safety culture across the project.
  • Identify and resolve site issues to maintain programme delivery.

What We're Looking For

Essential

  • Proven experience as a

Senior Site Manager on EPC, heavy engineering or industrial construction projects.

  • Strong background managing structural steelwork and/or mechanical plant installation.
  • Experience coordinating multiple subcontractors and site teams.
  • Excellent understanding of health and safety legislation and site management procedures.
  • Strong leadership, organisational and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage works across both day and night operations.
  • SMSTS qualification.
  • Valid CSCS card.
  • Full UK driving licence.

Desirable

  • Experience working on energy, industrial, process or infrastructure projects.
  • Knowledge of lifting operations and complex installation activities.
  • First Aid at Work qualification.
  • Temporary Works awareness or coordination experience.
  • Appointed Person or CPCS qualifications would be advantageous.
