An established and growing structural steelwork contractor in Leeds is seeking an experienced Estimator to support continued expansion and a strong pipeline of secured work. This is a key commercial role within a well-regarded steel contractor delivering commercial and industrial projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed cost estimates and competitive tender submissions
- Review drawings, specifications, and client requirements
- Complete material take-offs and labour cost assessments
- Obtain and analyse subcontractor and supplier quotations
- Identify risks, opportunities, and value engineering options
- Liaise with clients, engineers, architects, and internal teams
- Support commercial handover to project delivery teams
- Maintain accurate tender documentation and pricing records
