Responsibilities
- Produce and manage 3D Tekla models from engineering drawings and design information.
- Deliver detailed GA drawings and fabrication drawing packages to a high standard.
- Manage the modelling and drawing process throughout the full project lifecycle.
- Raise RFIs and TQs where further technical information is required.
- Coordinate with clients, engineers, architects, and subcontractors.
- Attend design team meetings and support project coordination activities.
- Work closely with internal departments to meet project requirements and deadlines.
- Support and mentor apprentice structural detailers.
- Maintain strong client relationships and contribute to positive project outcomes.
- Follow company QA procedures and support continuous business improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years' detailing experience within structural steel or steel fabrication.
- Minimum 10 years' experience using Tekla Structures.
- Strong understanding of structural steel detailing and fabrication processes.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple project demands.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills.
- Experience liaising with external stakeholders and internal teams.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
