Key Responsibilities:- Estimate and sell structural steel fabrication projects across the commercial/industrial sectors.
- Lead bid proposals and submissions for regional & national clients.
- Engage with architects, structural engineers, main contractors, and fabrication/erection contacts.
- Perform accurate take-offs, review technical drawings, and propose value engineering.
- Coordinate with in-house design, fabrication, and installation teams to ensure seamless project delivery.
- Cultivate and maintain relationships to secure repeat and new business.
- 5+ years’ experience in selling or estimating structural steel fabrication.
- Strong technical knowledge of structural steel systems, fabrication, erection, cladding, glazing, etc.
- Experience interpreting architectural, structural, and envelope drawings.
- Commercial mindset, negotiation skills and ability to build lasting relationships.
- Self-starter who thrives in a structured, fast-paced environment.
- Technical qualification (HNC, HND, degree, or equivalent) preferred.
