An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Quantity Surveyor to join one of the UK’s leading structural steelwork contractors, working on a diverse range of high-profile projects across commercial, industrial, and infrastructure sectors.

This is a fantastic role for an experienced QS looking to develop their career with a business at the forefront of the structural steel industry, offering long-term stability and career progression.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage all commercial aspects of structural steel projects from procurement to final accounts.
• Prepare and negotiate subcontractor packages, valuations, variations, and cost reports.
• Monitor project budgets and provide accurate financial reporting throughout the project lifecycle.
• Liaise closely with internal teams, subcontractors, and clients to ensure effective communication and commercial control.

Key Requirements

• Previous experience as a Quantity Surveyor within the structural steelwork or wider construction industry.
• Strong commercial acumen with excellent negotiation and communication skills.
• Knowledge of contract forms (NEC / JCT) and variation management.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
