We are seeking an experienced Structural Engineer to join a specialist structural engineering team delivering high-quality steelwork solutions across a range of complex building projects. You’ll be involved in the design and coordination of structures from early concept through to fabrication and construction, working on schemes such as commercial developments, industrial buildings, and multi-storey steel frames. This role offers a flexible hybrid working arrangement, with just one day per week required in the Cheshire office.

Key Requirements

  • A strong and detailed working knowledge of BS5950 and BS EN 1993 (Eurocode 3)
  • Proven experience using Tekla Structural Designer, Tekla Connection Designer, MasterSeries, and/or IDEA StatiCa (experience with at least three of these is essential)
  • Demonstrable experience in steel connection design
  • Ideally qualified to Associate Member level of IStructE (or working towards)

Additional Skills (Preferred)

  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
  • Confident communicator, able to liaise with internal teams and external stakeholders
