Job Overview:
Novatus Global is seeking an experienced Transaction Reporting Product Manager focussing on SFTR, to play a key role in enhancing our capabilities across our market-leading RegTech En : ACT platform as well as helping our clients meet evolving regulatory obligations across the financial services sector. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in rule development, client regulatory support, and providing subject matter expertise both externally to our clients, and internally to our Client facing functions. You will bridge the gap between business and technology - working with senior stakeholders, compliance teams, and data specialists to design and implement robust reporting solutions.

Key Responsibilities
- Requirements Gathering & Analysis
- Engage with stakeholders to elicit and document business and functional requirements for regulatory reporting processes and systems.
- Translate complex SFTR requirements into clear and actionable business needs.
- Support gap analyses and impact assessments for new or evolving regulatory rules.
- Regulatory Rule Development & Maintenance
- Manage the design, development, and maintenance of transaction reporting rulesets within the En : ACT platform.
- Translate evolving regulatory requirements (SFTR) into actionable platform functionality.
- Conduct detailed gap analysis of regulatory changes and provide recommendations for system enhancements.
- Undertake rigorous testing and validation of rulesets to ensure accurate and timely reporting.
- Client Regulatory Support & Query Handling
- Act as the primary regulatory subject matter expert for client-facing queries regarding transaction reporting requirements for your domain expertise.
- Support the client onboarding team as needed to assist with the onboarding of clients to the En : ACT platform, including data mapping, result verification, and interpretation of reporting outputs.
- Provide clear and actionable guidance on regulatory compliance issues to clients and internal teams.
- Engage with client stakeholders to ensure a robust understanding of evolving requirements and system capabilities.
- Oversee and guide managed-services project delivery while mentoring and providing technical leadership to junior team members.
- Snowflake Migration & SME Responsibilities
- Serve as a regulatory SME during the migration of the En : ACT solution to Snowflake’s data platform.
- Ensure migration processes preserve regulatory compliance and reporting accuracy.
- Collaborate across the migration team to identify and mitigate potential risks during migration.
- Validate and test migrated datasets to confirm adherence to reporting standards.
- Process Improvement & Knowledge Sharing
- Continuously review and enhance internal processes, workflows, and systems to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and data integrity.
- Produce thought leadership and client-facing content, including white papers, regulatory insights, and analyses.
- Share regulatory expertise across teams to foster knowledge transfer and continuous improvement.
- Maintain awareness of industry trends, emerging regulations, and technological advancements relevant to transaction reporting.
- Business & Technical Analysis
- Produce detailed business requirements and technical specifications for new features and system enhancements.
- Conduct pre-release testing and support smooth handover to Technology teams.
- Utilise analytical tools (Excel, SQL, etc.) to interpret trade and reporting data and support decision-making.
- Prepare visualisations, presentations, and client-ready reports to communicate findings clearly and concisely.
- Internal Business Partnering & SME Support
- Provide internal subject matter expertise and regulatory guidance to Implementation, Operations, and Product Management teams to ensure compliant delivery and sustainable operational design.
- Act as the regulatory escalation point during service implementation and ongoing operations, partnering with cross-functional teams to align product strategy, processes, and controls with regulatory requirements.
About You
- Proven transaction reporting experience, covering SFTR.
- Strong expertise in rule writing, validation, and testing within regulatory reporting platforms.
- Experience working with data management, governance, and lineage concepts.
- Proven ability to translate regulatory requirements into data and system solutions.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to operate in complex environments.
- Experience managing client queries and providing regulatory guidance.
- Self-starter with strong organisational skills, able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfortable using Confluence, JIRA, SQL, and Excel for analysis, documentation, and reporting.
