About the Role:

We are seeking highly energetic and skilled Analysts to join our growing Advisory business. The ideal candidate will be flexible to work across our Advisory practices and support our teams and clients to drive operational excellence and meaningful impact. Analysts will be able to develop their commercial and operational skillsets alongside their consulting capabilities at a firm that places great emphasis on learning development and career growth.

Illustrative responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with clients to analyse current operating models and business strategies, identifying opportunities for transformation and optimisation.
  • Provide advice/guidance on key market trends and developments, outlining how they apply to our clients’ business and operating models and where changes may be required.
  • Design and implement target operating models (TOM) that enhance efficiency, agility, and scalability.
  • Develop strategy transformation roadmaps, ensuring alignment with business objectives and market dynamics.
  • Conduct deep-dive assessments on business processes, governance structures, technology enablers, and organizational capabilities.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to drive large-scale change initiatives and ensure successful execution.
  • Utilise data analytics, benchmarking, and financial modelling to support recommendations and business cases.
  • Engage with key stakeholders to manage change and communicate delivery.
  • Provide thought leadership on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in topics such as ESG, risk management, operational resilience and strategy.
  • Support business development initiatives by contributing to proposals, client pitches, and industry research.
  • Participate in internal Novatus initiatives (e.g. working groups and committees) to support the growth and development of the wider team.

Key Skills & Qualifications:

Core attributes:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
  • Vested interest or passion in related topics (e.g regulatory change, AI, data, reporting, compliance and ESG)
  • Understanding of wider market trends in particular how they apply to different players in financial services
  • Experience in tools such as PowerPoint, Excel, and data visualisation platforms
  • Collaborative nature with some experience with stakeholder management and communication
  • Strong ability to work effectively with great organisational and time management skills
  • Ability to develop new skills and build knowledge within management consulting

Additional attributes:

  • Understanding of business analysis and project and programme management, including roadmap definition, milestone tracking and RAID management
  • Ability to translate strategic objectives into operational execution plans.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with proficiency in financial modelling and business case development.
