Key Responsibilities

The Transition Service offers a unique chance to help young people with learning disabilities to gain confidence and self-esteem as they leave home for the first time. At Aldingbourne, we proudly support people with learning disabilities to live independently in their own flats and be part of our local community. We work in partnership enabling our tenants to live the lives they choose while developing their own independence.

This role requires flexibility covering early morning shifts, week day, weekend, evening shifts as well as sleep-in. Our friendly team support clients, in day to day activities, who live independently and based in central Bognor (close to the train station, with excellent bus services and a busy high street). We are passionate about helping people we support to improve their well-being, quality of life, and day-to-day living skills. People are supported to lead fulfilling lives; getting involved in work, learning, and leisure activities of their choosing; and keeping in touch with family and making social connections.

Working for Aldingbourne Trust means working for a charity that values the staff we employ as much as the people we support, that means competitive salary, generous benefits but above all working as a team, supporting one another to achieve the best.
