The Role

We are looking for a hardworking, reliable, and positive Kitchen Porter to join our busy Food Production team. You will play a vital role in keeping our kitchens running smoothly by maintaining cleanliness, supporting chefs, and ensuring all kitchen areas are safe, organised, and efficient.

Key Responsibilities

  • You will assist across all food service areas, including preparation and service points.
  • Duties include washing dishes, pots, and pans, operating dishwashers, clearing dining areas, handling deliveries, and ensuring correct storage of food items.
  • You will carry out general and deep cleaning of kitchen equipment, manage waste and recycling, and support basic food preparation such as vegetable prep.
  • You will also follow all food hygiene, health and safety, and COSHH regulations at all times.

What We’re Looking For

We are seeking someone who can work both independently and as part of a team in a fast‑paced environment. You should have strong communication skills, a positive attitude, and a willingness to learn. The role requires physical capability to lift and move items safely. A customer‑focused approach is essential, and a basic Food Hygiene Certificate would be an advantage.
