We’re looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Chef de Partie to join our well-established kitchen team at The Mandolay Hotel in Guildford. The Mandolay is a busy four-star hotel with a one AA Rosette restaurant, a strong reputation for quality food and extensive conference, wedding and banqueting facilities. This is a varied role offering the opportunity to work across restaurant service, private dining and large-scale events.

The role:

  • Full-time, permanent position
  • 40 hours per week
  • Five days over seven
  • £19.00 per hour, including holiday pay
  • Paid overtime at the same hourly rate
  • A varied mix of restaurant and banqueting work

What we’re looking for:

  • You’ll have previous experience working as a Chef de Partie or an experienced Demi Chef de Partie ready to take the next step.
  • You should be passionate about producing high-quality food, comfortable working in a busy kitchen and able to maintain excellent standards during both restaurant and large banqueting services.
  • You’ll need to be reliable, organised and able to work well as part of an established team.
