An exciting opportunity has arisen for a part-time Cleaning Operative to join the team at Donington Park. Working within the Site and Facilities Team, alongside the Venue Services Coordinator, you will support the delivery of large-scale events including the World Superbike Championship (WSBK), British Superbike Championship, British Touring Car Championship and British GT Championship, as well as a busy programme of additional race meetings and venue activity. All cleaning roles are offered on a casual, seasonal basis. This position would suit a practical, reliable and hardworking individual who takes pride in maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation across the venue.
Key Duties
- Preparing and cleaning hospitality suites to a high standard ahead of event days
- Emptying bins across site and maintaining general cleanliness throughout the venue
- Vacuuming and maintaining office spaces to provide a clean working environment
- Litter picking and post-event clean-up following large event days
- Ensuring company assets and property are protected at all times
- Using cleaning machinery safely and for its intended purpose
- Reporting any faults, damage or losses promptly to the Venue Services Coordinator or Estates Manager
- Maintaining venue presentation to the highest standard as directed
- Assisting with the duty rota, including weekend events and evening venue use
- Complying at all times with COSHH regulations, Noise at Work Regulations and MSV’s Safety, Health & Environmental policies
- Working independently when required and consistently delivering high standards
- Engaging positively with colleagues and visitors in a professional and polite manner
The Ideal Candidate Will
- Have previous experience working within a cleaning role
- Be self-motivated and able to work unsupervised
- Demonstrate a strong work ethic and attention to detail
- Be flexible and willing to work weekends and occasional evenings during the summer season
- Be comfortable working on a casual, seasonal contract basis
- Have a Full UK Driving licence
