PalmerSport, the leading operator of prestige corporate motorsport events, owning and operating the Bedford Autodrome circuit complex, is looking for an enthusiastic Valeter to join our Engineering and Events department. This role will involve working within the Engineering team, maintaining our high performance fleet of Mclaren Artura GT4s, Formula 3000s, Ginetta G56 GTAs, JP‑LMs and Caterhams as well as a whole host of site maintenance vehicles. Ensuring all vehicles are kept clean and well presented for our corporate event days.
Job duties will include:
- Cleaning / valeting race vehicles to the highest possible standard
- Use a variety of cleaning tools to ensure maximum level of cleanliness
- Carry out cleanliness inspections on all vehicles
- Assist with any event duties (assisting guests in and out of cars)
- Liaise with the Workshop and Fleet Manager to ensure cars are ready in time for events
- Manage an inventory of cleaning supplies and ensure these are kept full, working with the Workshop and Fleet Manager to ensure new supplies are ordered
For this Valeter role, you will be / have:
- A willingness to work outside in all weather conditions
- Full UK driving licence
- High level of attention to details
- Experience of cleaning vehicles to a high standard
- Ability to work efficiently but quickly in order to meet strict deadlines
The Valeting role at PalmerSport is being offered on a full time 42.5 hour permanent basis. Due to our event calendar, an element of weekend working (saturdays), will be required. A full UK driving licence is essential in order to be considered for the position.
