Novata is looking for a driven and relationship-focused Partnership Manager to manage and grow our ecosystem of sustainability-focused partners. Novata's partner network spans four distinct categories - Technology Partners, Distribution Partners, Advisory & Consulting Partners, and Industry Partners - and this role is the connective tissue that keeps those relationships productive, growing, and aligned with Novata's platform and client goals. This is a high-impact role that sits at the heart of Novata's go-to-market strategy. You will report to the Head of Partnership and serve as the primary relationship owner for a portfolio of partners, working cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Product, and Novata Advisory teams to activate co-sell opportunities, unlock new distribution channels, and ensure partners can confidently deliver Novata's solutions to their clients.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Partner Relationship Management
    • Own and grow day-to-day relationships across Novata's four partner categories: Technology, Distribution, Advisory & Consulting, and Industry partners.
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for key partners such as Microsoft, S&P Global Sustainable1, CDP, Northern Trust, ERM, Invest Europe, and EFRAG.
    • Develop joint business plans with strategic partners, setting clear goals, KPIs, and mutual success metrics.
    • Proactively identify and onboard new partners that extend Novata's market reach or deepen its solution offering for private markets clients.
  • Go-to-Market Execution
    • Collaborate with Novata's Sales and Marketing teams to activate co-sell and co-marketing programs with Technology and Distribution partners.
    • Support partner-sourced and partner-influenced pipeline generation - tracking outcomes and iterating on strategy based on results.
    • Drive partner enablement: ensure partners fully understand Novata's platform, solutions, and value proposition so they can represent Novata credibly to investors and companies.
    • Coordinate joint activity around Novata's Azure Marketplace listing, and other platform-level integrations.
    • Represent Novata at partner events, industry bodies, and joint client meetings - particularly across private markets events in New York and London.
  • Platform & Integration Partnerships
    • Work with Product and Engineering teams to support the technical aspects of technology partnerships, including integrations.
    • Coordinate with the Microsoft partnership team to maximize Novata's Azure Marketplace presence and supplier sustainability positioning.
    • Track integration roadmaps and flag partner dependencies that may impact product planning.
  • Industry & Standards Partnerships
    • Manage relationships with industry and standards bodies including Invest Europe, EFRAG, BVCA, and Reframe Venture to ensure Novata's framework alignment remains current and credible.
  • Reporting & Operations
    • Track and report on partner performance, pipeline contribution, and return on investment across all partner categories.
    • Maintain accurate CRM records of partner activity, pipeline, and communications.
    • Share market intelligence and partner feedback with internal stakeholders to inform Novata's product roadmap and GTM strategy.

About You

  • You build trust quickly and communicate clearly - whether you're talking to a sustainability consultant, a fund administrator, or a senior executive at a global financial institution.
  • You have strong commercial instincts and can identify mutual value in partnership opportunities across diverse partner types.
  • You're energized by the complexity of managing multiple partner relationships simultaneously and know how to prioritize where to focus.
  • You're genuinely curious about ESG, sustainability data, and the role that private markets can play in driving a more inclusive and sustainable economy.
  • You operate with transparency and follow through on your commitments - partners and colleagues know they can rely on you.

You Have Experience

  • 3-6 years in partnerships, business development, or alliances - ideally within SaaS, fintech, ESG, or sustainability-related industries.
  • Managing partner relationships across more than one partner type, with a track record of measurable outcomes.
  • Working with or alongside financial services firms, fund administrators, or technology organizations.
  • Supporting or executing co-sell and co-marketing programs with technology platform partners.
  • Engaging with sustainability frameworks and standards bodies or a demonstrated ability to get up to speed quickly.
  • Using CRM and partnership management tools to track pipeline and activity.
