We're hiring an Account Executive to own and grow our German-speaking market, based out of our London office. You'll join a highly driven EMEA sales team and take the lead on net‑new business: identifying, engaging, and closing GPs, fund managers, and portfolio companies who need to meet rising ESG and regulatory reporting demands (SFDR, EU Taxonomy, CSRD). This is a high‑autonomy role with real backing. You'll be the person building Novata's presence in Germany — supported by a team that knows how to win — which means you need the language, the market knowledge, and the hunger to make your mark in one of Europe's most important sustainability markets.
What You'll Be Doing
- Analyze the market and identify the most attractive segments to ensure product market fit and win business.
- Enable and educate multiple stakeholders at all levels, including ESG practitioners and C‑suite, to help meet their desired outcomes and create value through Novata.
- Collaborate across Novata's functions, including product and marketing to create efficient and effective feedback loops facilitating continuous improvement across the company.
- Create meaningful relationships with prospective clients and existing clients to build and instil value through a community‑based model.
About You
- Native or near-native German speaker. You can run complex enterprise sales conversations without switching to English.
- 5+ years in B2B SaaS or sustainability/ESG services sales, with a track record of hitting quota.
- You are not afraid to pick up the phone. Outbound is a discipline for you, not an afterthought.
- Experience selling into Germany: you understand how decisions get made and how to build trust and momentum during long cycles and with multiple stakeholders.
- Familiarity with ESG, private markets, or financial services is a strong plus.
- HubSpot or equivalent CRM proficiency.
