Role Summary
Acts as a strategic advisor to the business, aligning workforce needs with tailored hiring strategies and serving as the primary point of contact for Hiring Managers. Leads recruitment delivery for senior hires and ensures high-quality, efficient execution through effective collaboration with recruitment delivery teams.
Key Accountabilities
- Partner with the business to support workforce and demand planning, anticipating future talent needs
- Lead end-to-end recruitment for senior and complex roles within a defined business area
- Ensure quality, speed, and consistency across the hiring process
- Act as single point of contact for Hiring Managers, providing guidance on hiring decisions
- Steer recruitment delivery teams to ensure on-time, high-quality hiring outcomes
- Manage escalations and risks, particularly for high-volume or critical hiring
Key Responsibilities
Business Partnering & Strategy
- Act as trusted advisor to Hiring Managers on hiring strategy and market insights
- Define role requirements, success profiles, and hiring approaches
- Provide data-led recommendations to optimise hiring outcomes
- Drive alignment on recruitment plans and priorities
Recruitment Execution (Senior & Strategic Hiring)
- Shape recruitment approach and define candidate selection criteria
- Lead candidate validation and screening for senior hires
- Act as primary point of contact for candidates during senior processes
- Drive offer decisions in partnership with Hiring Managers
Delivery Oversight & Collaboration
- Partner with recruitment delivery teams (e.g. sourcing, coordination, candidate management)
- Align reactive sourcing and proactive pipelining efforts
- Ensure consistent execution across screening, selection, and offer stages
- Maintain accountability for quality, timelines, and candidate experience
Process Excellence & Governance
- Ensure adherence to recruitment processes, systems, and SLAs
- Monitor key performance indicators and drive continuous improvement
- Manage escalations and ensure resolution within agreed timelines
- Promote consistent, scalable, and compliant hiring practices
Experience & Skills
- Significant experience in recruitment (agency or in-house)
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills
- Commercial mindset with ability to translate business needs into hiring strategies
- Experience managing senior or complex hiring
- Data-driven approach to decision making
- Strong collaboration across multiple stakeholders and teams
