As an Intelligence Analyst at Novartis, you will play a critical role in identifying, assessing, and communicating security threats that could impact our people, operations, and ability to deliver life-changing medicines to patients worldwide. Key Responsibilities

  • Operate within the intelligence cycle to identify, assess and communicate emerging security risks, geopolitical developments, crime trends, reputational risk patterns and disruptive events which may impact business operations.
  • Produce high-quality threat assessments, executive briefings, presentations, and intelligence reports aligned to Global Security strategy, while ensuring accuracy, appropriate sourcing, and confidentiality.
  • Translate complex intelligence findings into clear, actionable insights that support strategic decision-making, executive protection, business continuity, and enterprise risk management.
  • Strengthen the threat intelligence operating rhythm with AI-enabled capabilities under established frameworks, to enhance strategic decision-making, risk-anticipation, executive protection, business continuity, and enterprise risk management, while retaining accountability for accuracy, interpretation, judgment and ethical use.
  • Conduct all-source intelligence collection and analysis to generate timely insights and deliver root-cause investigations, predictive analysis, horizon scanning output and maintain a high-quality, searchable corporate memory of intelligence activity.
  • Support continuous learning and improvement of AI governance, prompt discipline, validation standards, source evaluation, and analytical tradecraft within the Intelligence COE.
  • Build strong partnerships with internal stakeholders and external intelligence and security networks.

Essential Requirements

  • Proven extensive experience using artificial intelligence and augmented reasoning tools within intelligence or analytical environments.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant discipline.
  • Extensive professional experience in Intelligence and Security (both required) - combined settings include global security, counter-terrorism, law enforcement, military, commercial intelligence or related fields.
  • Experience of structured analytical techniques and intelligence analysis tools such as i2 Analyst's Notebook or equivalent platforms.
  • Full proficiency in English, is essential with a high standard of writing competence required; other region-specific languages, in particular German, Russian and Arabic are desirable.
  • Exceptional written, verbal, stakeholder engagement, and executive influencing skills.
  • Advanced analytical and investigative skills, including open-source intelligence and social media intelligence research, with demonstrated ability to assess complex threats and translate findings into actionable recommendations.

Desirable Requirements

  • Experience in an international / global environment and previous experience of the EMEA region is desirable.
  • Additional language capabilities from the region.

The base salary offered is determined based on gender-neutral objectives, such as relevant skills, competencies and experience in accordance with the Novartis pay setting policy and upon joining Novartis will be reviewed periodically. In addition to your base salary, you may be eligible for a performance-based bonus depending on certain performance parameters.
