Ready to lead the IT backbone of Novartis' new Morrisville manufacturing sites? As the Site IT Specialist, you'll be the on-site point person who turns plans into reliable, compliant technology operations. You'll orchestrate end-to-end services—from network and workplace technologies to servers and cloud—while embedding security, quality, and service management best practices. Partnering with global Data, Digital & IT, engineering, vendors, and local leaders, you'll ready the site for go-live and steady-state, resolve issues with care and urgency, and continuously improve how colleagues work every day—so life-changing medicines can reach patients faster.

Key Responsibilities:- Lead stable, secure, compliant technology operations for Morrisville manufacturing sites.
- Execute Information Technology Service Management processes for timely issue resolution.
- Plan and deliver site infrastructure across network, workplace, compute, storage, and hosting.
- Validate networks and technologies; support go-live readiness and operational handover.
- Apply cybersecurity governance; manage vulnerabilities, patching, and documentation.
- Partner with stakeholders; translate requirements; produce procedural and training materials.
- Govern suppliers and services; enforce service levels and drive improvement.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant technical field.
- 5+ years of relevant experience in a GMP environment.
- Experience in IT operations, service management, or infrastructure within regulated environments.
- Ability to support compliant IT services including core ITSM processes.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity governance and audit readiness.
- Strong communication and documentation skills.
- Experience with site start-up phases including design and commissioning.
- Familiarity with OT environments such as SCADA and building management systems.
- ITIL certification; security certifications.
The salary for this position is expected to range between $103,600 and $192,400 per year. The final salary offered is determined based on factors like, but not limited to, relevant skills and experience, and upon joining Novartis will be reviewed periodically. Novartis may change the published salary range based on company and market factors.
Your compensation will include a performance-based cash incentive and, depending on the level of the role, eligibility to be considered for annual equity awards. US-based eligible employees will receive a comprehensive benefits package that includes health, life and disability benefits, a 401(k) with company contribution and match, and a variety of other benefits. In addition, employees are eligible for a generous time off package including vacation, personal days, holidays and other leaves.
