About The Role
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with Therapeutic Area leaders to support strategic planning, investment decisions, and portfolio performance.
- Deliver clear financial analysis, forecasting, and reporting to support timely business decision-making.
- Translate complex financial data into practical insights, recommendations, and business storytelling.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and planning processes with accuracy, structure, and commercial understanding.
- Identify risks, opportunities, and performance trends, recommending actions to improve business outcomes.
- Build trusted relationships across Finance, Marketing, Brand, Market Access, and cross-functional teams.
- Contribute to process improvements, financial tracking, and proactive performance management across the business.
- Champion digital innovation within the Finance function, including the effective use of AI-enabled tools.
Essential Requirements
- Degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- Strong financial planning, forecasting, reporting, and analytical capability.
- Ability to interpret financial data and convert it into clear, actionable business recommendations.
- Strong learning agility, curiosity, and ability to quickly understand new business environments.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build rapport beyond the immediate function.
- Strong communication skills, including the ability to tell a clear story through financial insights.
- Confidence working with data, financial models, presentations, and performance analysis.

The base salary offered is determined based on gender-neutral objectives, such as relevant skills, competencies and experience in accordance with the Novartis pay setting policy and upon joining Novartis will be reviewed periodically. In addition to your base salary, you may be eligible for a performance-based bonus depending on certain performance parameters.
