In this high-impact position, you’ll lead the scientific strategy and execution of innovative studies that shape how our medicines are understood, accessed, and adopted globally. From Phase IIIb/IV trials to real-world evidence programs, your work will inform decisions made by regulators, payers, clinicians, and patients. You’ll collaborate across functions and borders, driving integrated evidence planning and pioneering new methodologies that elevate the value of our therapies. Key Responsibilities
- Lead scientific oversight of Phase IIIb/IV trials and complex non-interventional studies across global medical affairs.
- Develop study concepts, protocols, and reports; guide analysis, interpretation, and publication of results.
- Drive integrated evidence planning to support product strategy and demonstrate medicine value.
- Engage with global stakeholders including KOLs, advisory boards, and patient advocacy groups.
- Represent Novartis in steering committees and external research collaborations.
- Champion innovative methodologies and technologies to advance evidence generation practices.
- Contribute to enterprise-wide initiatives including process improvements, training, and SOP development.
Essential Requirements
- Advanced degree in life sciences or healthcare; MBA or equivalent preferred.
- 7+ years experience in pharma, academic research, or healthcare with evidence generation focus.
- Expertise in interventional and non-interventional trial design and real-world evidence methodologies.
- Strong understanding of global regulatory and access environments and drug development processes.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and deliver impactful evidence strategies.
- Excellent communication skills with ability to translate complex concepts for diverse audiences.
